Description
A fluorescent dye from STEMCELL Technologies detects superoxide production in the mitochondria of live cells. Flow cytometry analysis demonstrates that Jurkat cells labeled with the dye show formation of superoxides following treatment with Antimycin A (Figure 1), confirming its utility for monitoring mitochondrial reactive oxygen species.
