miRCURY Probe PCR Kit (4000)

QIAGEN's miRCURY Probe PCR Kit is a high-performance PCR master mix for probe-based miRNA quantification, used with miRCURY LNA miRNA Probe PCR Assays and Panels. The kit contains 2X QuantiNova Probe Master Mix, 10X miRCURY Probe Universal Primer, ROX Reference Dye and RNase-free water. It is optimized for use with any real-time cycler, and reverse transcription is performed with the miRCURY LNA RT Kit.

As part of the miRCURY LNA miRNA Probe PCR System, the kit combines a universal reverse transcription reaction with LNA-enhanced qPCR primers and probes. LNA enhancement permits the design of very short, sequence-specific, non-overlapping primers and probes with extremely high affinity and specificity, which is not achievable with conventional oligonucleotides. Hydrolysis probe detection is highly sensitive and robust because only the desired PCR product is detected. The system delivers accurate miRNA quantification without preamplification, even for low-abundance targets.

The kit uses a hot-start polymerase and an optimized buffer for sensitive, specific qPCR performance. It is supplied as a bulk-format master mix suited to high-volume probe-based qPCR, and is appropriate for large-scale expression studies, validation cohorts and core facilities.
