miRCURY LNA miRNA ISH Kit 4 (FFPE)

This QIAGEN kit is optimized for miRNA in situ hybridization (ISH) on formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue samples using LNA-enhanced probe chemistry. It provides the reagents needed to set up and optimize miRNA ISH experiments in the lab, including double (5' and 3') DIG-labeled miRCURY LNA miRNA Detection Probes, ISH buffer, Proteinase K, and hybridization reagents. The reagents included have been specifically adapted for use with LNA-enhanced probes in FFPE tissue sections. Each kit contains positive and negative control probes — including a U6 snRNA positive control — along with a unique tissue-specific miRCURY LNA Detection Probe.

Kit 4 includes the miR-124 probe, validated for neurons and recommended for brain and eye tissues, with reference data shown for miR-124 detection in human brain. The probe chemistry provides the sensitivity and specificity needed to localize miRNAs in tissue sections while minimizing non-specific staining. Eight different miRCURY LNA miRNA ISH Optimization Kits are available, each suited to a range of experimental setups without the need for advanced instruments. For research use only.
