miRCURY LNA miRNA ISH Kit 1 (FFPE)

From QIAGEN, this optimization kit is designed for setting up and running miRNA in situ hybridization (ISH) experiments on formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue samples. Kit 1 supplies a unique, tissue-specific miRCURY LNA miRNA Detection Probe targeting miR-1, validated for detection in skeletal muscle cells, myocytes, and myocardiocytes, with demonstrated use in adult mouse heart tissue.

The workflow is built around double (5' and 3') DIG-labeled miRCURY LNA miRNA Detection Probes, which deliver the sensitivity and specificity needed to localize short miRNA targets in tissue sections. Each kit includes positive and negative control probes, hybridization buffer, and Proteinase K. The reagents are specifically adapted for use with LNA-enhanced probes on FFPE tissue sections, and the protocol is compatible with standard histology techniques without requiring advanced instruments.
