miRCURY LNA miRNA Custom PCR Panels - 96-well Fluidigm

LNA-optimized PCR panels from QIAGEN enable extremely sensitive and specific quantification of miRNAs. The ready-to-use plates contain individual miRCURY LNA miRNA PCR Assays arranged according to user requirements, with both forward and reverse PCR amplification primers miRNA-specific and optimized with LNA technology for use with the miRCURY LNA miRNA PCR System. The system is described as the only miRNA quantification platform with absolute specificity, referencing the miRQC study published in Nature Methods, and has outperformed another probe-based miRNA qPCR platform in specificity tests, eliminating false positives.

Each well contains sufficient primer set for one 10 µl reaction. The 3-hour protocol involves diluting synthesized cDNA, combining it with the miRCURY LNA SYBR Green Master Mix, and aliquoting into the PCR plate before running on a real-time PCR instrument. Minimized pipetting steps reduce technical variation, supporting high day-to-day and site-to-site reproducibility, including with difficult samples such as RNA purified from serum.

A supplementary protocol also describes use of these custom PCR panels with the QIAcuity Digital PCR System alongside the QIAcuity EG PCR Kit for sensitive miRNA detection.
