Microbial DNA qPCR Multi-Assay Kits

QIAGEN's Microbial DNA qPCR Multi-Assay Kit is designed for real-time PCR-based profiling and detection of microbial species, antibiotic resistance genes, and virulence factor genes. Each assay is bench-verified for sensitivity and specificity, providing ready-to-use reagents for bacterial species or gene detection.

Each assay relies on PCR amplification of species-specific genetic regions, using target-specific fluorescent hydrolysis probes to enhance specificity. Bacterial species assays target the 16S rRNA gene. Kit components include a Microbial DNA qPCR Assay, a Positive PCR Control Assay, Microbial DNA Positive Control V2, Microbial qPCR Mastermix (available with ROX or fluorescein passive reference dye), and Microbial DNA-Free Water. The kits are compatible with a broad range of real-time PCR cyclers.

These products are intended for molecular biology applications and are not intended for the diagnosis, prevention, or treatment of any disease. Each lot is tested against predetermined specifications under QIAGEN's ISO-certified Quality Management System. Kits are shipped on blue ice packs and should be stored at –30 to –15 °C, remaining stable for six months after receipt.
