Locator Plate, Tips, BR Rapid Plate

An automated sample preparation accessory from QIAGEN, this Locator Plate with Tips is configured for the BR Rapid Plate deck format and supports walkaway nucleic acid purification on compatible QIAGEN instruments. The plate accepts disposable pipette tips during run setup, enabling accurate aspiration and dispensing of lysis buffers, washes, eluates, and sample suspensions across a full rapid-plate array.

Constructed for installation on the worktable of QIAGEN systems, the locator plate holds tip racks in fixed positions during the run, simplifying deck loading and reducing the chance of misaligned transfers during processing. It is supplied as a single plate and integrates directly with rapid-plate consumable workflows used in molecular biology laboratories for research use only, including routine genomic DNA, viral DNA/RNA, and bacterial nucleic acid extraction workflows.

Standard storage is at room temperature, away from direct sunlight, with no refrigeration required between runs. The plate can be cleaned and decontaminated between uses following the manufacturer protocol and is intended to operate in combination with QIAGEN rapid-plate tip racks of the corresponding format.
