Investigator 24plex GO! Kit (1000)

From QIAGEN, the Investigator 24plex GO! Kit is a 24-locus multiplex PCR kit aimed at high-volume forensic and identification laboratories. It offers the 24plex marker set in a workflow-optimized GO! format for reproducible STR profiling and is intended for use with standard capillary electrophoresis systems and laboratory pipelines.

The accompanying quick-start protocols describe workflows for buccal swabs and for blood or buccal cells collected on FTA or other paper. The buccal swab workflow includes incubation at 95°C for 5 min with shaking at 1200 rpm in a thermomixer. For buccal cells on paper, an STR GO! Punch Buffer is referenced as needing to be ordered separately. The paper-based protocol uses a 1.2 mm punch taken from the centre of the sample spot.

All kit components are to be stored at –30°C to –15°C. The Primer Mix, Allelic Ladder, and DNA Size Standard must be protected from light, and DNA samples and post-PCR reagents should be kept separate from PCR reagents. The product documentation is dated May 2026.
