Human Immunoglobulin M (IgM) Antibody

A goat-derived polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com that binds human immunoglobulin M (IgM), the largest pentameric antibody isotype that initiates primary humoral responses and activates the classical complement cascade. The antibody is supplied as a 10 ml liquid preparation that has been delipidated and passed through a 0.2 µm filter to reduce background and limit aggregates before use.

Unconjugated presentation allows direct conjugation in the user's own laboratory workflows, or pairing with secondary detection systems chosen for a specific platform. The reagent is intended for turbidimetric immunoassay (TIA) workflows that quantify IgM in clinical chemistry analyzers, and it is also useful as a capture or detection reagent in custom immunoassays where high-avidity polyclonal recognition of human µ heavy chains is needed.
