Anti-His Tag Antibody [KT111]

The KT111 clone is a rat monoclonal IgG2a antibody that recognizes the polyhistidine (His6/6xHis) epitope commonly fused to recombinant proteins. Researchers commonly use this antibody to confirm expression of His-tagged fusion proteins after IPTG induction in E. coli, to track elution profiles from Ni-NTA or cobalt affinity columns during purification, and to validate cloning constructs prior to downstream functional assays.
