Hu Sclerostin, 50 _g

A recombinant human protein supplied by STEMCELL Technologies, this Sclerostin is offered as a recombinant preparation. Its biological activity was assessed by its ability to inhibit Wnt3a-induced alkaline phosphatase production in C3H10T1/2 cells, with an EC50 — the effective concentration at which inhibition of enzyme production is at 50% of maximum — determined to be ≤ 1 μg/mL.

SDS-PAGE analysis under reducing (+) conditions with Coomassie Blue staining showed an apparent molecular mass of 29.9 kDa, while the predicted molecular mass is 22.5 kDa; the difference is attributed to glycosylation.
