Hu Recom PDGF-BB, ACF, 10 µg

STEMCELL Technologies offers Human Recombinant PDGF-BB, ACF, a mitogen for dermal fibroblasts, glial cells, arterial smooth muscle cells, epithelial and endothelial cells. The biological activity of the product was tested by its ability to promote the proliferation of NR6R-3T3 cells, with cell proliferation measured using a fluorometric assay method. The EC50, defined as the effective concentration of the growth factor at which cell proliferation is at 50% of maximum, is 5.41 ng/mL. For purity assessment, 1 μg of the product was resolved with SDS-PAGE under reducing (+) and non-reducing (-) conditions and visualized by Coomassie Blue staining. The product is designed for use in research workflows involving serum-free neurophysiological basal medium for improved neuronal function, within the platelet-derived growth factor BB research area.
