Hu Recom LIF, ACF, 25 µg

A recombinant human protein from STEMCELL Technologies, this Animal Component-Free (ACF) Leukemia Inhibitory Factor (LIF) is produced in E. coli and is guaranteed free of animal or human components. According to the manufacturer, LIF plays a role in implantation by regulating proliferation, invasion, and differentiation of trophoblast following blastocyst attachment.

Biological activity is determined by the ability to promote proliferation of TF-1 cells, with cell proliferation measured after 66 hours of culture using a fluorometric assay method. The reported EC50 is 0.06 ng/mL. STEMCELL's recombinant cytokines carry a guaranteed purity of ≥ 95% and endotoxin levels of ≤ 0.2 EU/μg protein. For characterization, 1 µg of the protein can be resolved with SDS-PAGE under reducing (+) and non-reducing (-) conditions and visualized by Coomassie Blue staining.
