Hu Recom IL-7, ACF, 10 µg

From STEMCELL Technologies, Human Recombinant IL-7, ACF is a cytokine also referred to as Interleukin-7, LP-1, Lymphopoietin 1, and Pre-B cell factor. IL-7 regulates survival of naïve and memory CD4+ and CD8+ T cells, as well as αβ and γδ T cells, NKT cells, innate lymphoid cells, and T regulatory cells.

Biological activity was tested by the ability of the cytokine to promote proliferation of PHA-stimulated PBMCs. The EC50, defined as the effective concentration of the cytokine at which cell proliferation is at 50% of maximum, is ≤ 0.5 ng/mL. SDS-PAGE analysis under reducing (+) and non-reducing (-) conditions with Coomassie Blue staining indicates a predicted molecular mass of 17.5 kDa.

In a T cell expansion comparison, cells stimulated with ImmunoCult Human CD3/CD28/CD2 T Cell Activator and cultured in ImmunoCult-XF T Cell Expansion Medium supplemented with 10 ng/mL of recombinant human IL-7 for 10 days showed robust T cell expansion comparable to other commercially available cytokines.
