The biological activity of Human Recombinant IL-3 (CHO-expressed) was tested by its ability to promote the proliferation of TF-1 cells, with cell proliferation measured using a fluorometric assay method. The EC50 is defined as the effective concentration of the cytokine at which cell proliferation is at 50% of maximum; in the example provided, the EC50 is less than 0.1 ng/mL.

2 μg of Human Recombinant IL-3 (CHO-expressed) was resolved with SDS-PAGE under reducing (+) and non-reducing (-) conditions and visualized by Coomassie Blue staining. The product has a predicted molecular mass of 15.1 kDa. It is designed for use in research areas associated with interleukins, including Interleukin 3, Interleukin 4, and Interleukin 6 workflows.
