STEMCELL Technologies offers Human Recombinant IL-15, a recombinant cytokine that supports the survival and proliferation of naive CD4+ and CD8+ T cells, contributes to the homeostasis of memory T cells, and promotes the survival and differentiation of NK cells.

Biological activity was assessed by the ability of the cytokine to promote proliferation of CTLL2 cells, yielding an EC50 of ≤ 1 ng/mL. SDS-PAGE analysis under reducing and non-reducing conditions, with visualization by Coomassie Blue staining, is consistent with the predicted molecular mass of 12.9 kDa.
