Hu Recom G-CSF, ACF, 10 µg

Produced by STEMCELL Technologies, this human recombinant G-CSF (ACF) is a cytokine that stimulates the initial proliferation of granulocyte-macrophage progenitors and supports the survival of erythroid and eosinophil progenitors.

Biological activity was assessed by the product's ability to promote the proliferation of mouse NFS-60 cells, with cell proliferation measured using a fluorometric assay method. The EC50, defined as the effective concentration of the cytokine at which cell proliferation reaches 50% of maximum, was 0.053 ng/mL in the example assay. Analysis by SDS-PAGE under reducing and non-reducing conditions, visualized with Coomassie Blue staining, indicates a predicted molecular mass of 18.8 kDa.
