Hu Recom Fractalkine (CX3CL1), 1000 µg

A laboratory reagent from STEMCELL Technologies, this preparation of Human Recombinant Fractalkine (CX3CL1) functions as a potent chemoattractant of target cells and has been implicated in the pathology of inflammatory diseases. The product is supplied as a solid powder and is not classified as a hazardous substance or mixture according to the Globally Harmonized System (GHS) or the 2012 OSHA Hazard Communication Standard (29 CFR 1910.1200).

Biological activity has been demonstrated by the protein's ability to mobilize Ca2+ in CHO-K1/Gα15/hCX3CR1 cells (human Gα15 and human CX3CR1 stably expressed in CHO-K1 cells), with Ca2+ mobilization measured using a fluorometric assay method. The EC50, defined as the effective concentration of the growth factor at which Ca2+ mobilization is at 50% of maximum, is less than 1.5 μg/mL in the example assay. SDS-PAGE analysis under reducing (+) and non-reducing (−) conditions, visualized by Coomassie Blue staining, shows a predicted molecular mass of 50 - 75 kDa.
