Hu Recom Amphiregulin, 50 µg

Supplied by STEMCELL Technologies, this Human Recombinant Amphiregulin is a laboratory reagent presented as a solid. According to the manufacturer, Amphiregulin stimulates growth of normal and transformed mammary epithelial, colon, prostate, cervix and pancreas malignant cells.

The biological activity of this protein was tested by its ability to promote the proliferation of BALB/c 3T3 cells, with cell proliferation measured using a fluorometric assay method. The EC50, defined as the effective concentration of the growth factor at which cell proliferation is at 50% of maximum, is less than 0.2 ng/mL. In a separate analysis, 2 μg of Human Recombinant Amphiregulin was resolved with SDS-PAGE under reducing (+) and non-reducing (−) conditions and visualized by Coomassie Blue staining.

The product is classified as not a hazardous substance or mixture according to the Globally Harmonized System (GHS) and is chemically stable under normal conditions.
