HetaSep Solution, 20mL

A specialized erythrocyte sedimentation reagent from STEMCELL Technologies, this 20 mL bottle of HetaSep Solution enables rapid separation of red blood cells from granulocytes in whole blood and cord blood specimens used in hematopoietic research. The solution combines hydroxyethyl starch and dextran to promote erythrocyte aggregation, allowing leukocyte-rich fractions to be collected from the upper layer after a brief room-temperature sedimentation step that does not require a centrifuge.
