Description
From STEMCELL Technologies, this reagent is an irreversible fixable viability dye used for staining live and dead mammalian cells in flow cytometry. The product has been demonstrated in flow cytometry analysis of human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) and human multiple myeloma bone marrow mononuclear cells (BMMCs), and is suitable for use with compatible antibodies for purity assessment of isolated cells.
The dye has an excitation maximum of 693 nm and an emission maximum of 713 nm. It is supplied as a liquid whose primary component is dimethyl sulfoxide, and it is classified as a combustible liquid with a flash point of 87 °C / 189 °F.
