GeneRead Pure mRNA Kit (48)

QIAGEN's RNeasy Pure mRNA Bead Kit (formerly the GeneRead Pure mRNA Kit, with identical chemistry) uses polyA-oligo-dT–based purification to enrich mRNA from total RNA preparations for next-generation sequencing applications. The kit removes ribosomal RNA, including 28S at 99.99%, 18S at 99.99%, 5.8S at 99.99%, 5S at 99.99%, 16S mitochondrial at 99.09%, and 12S mitochondrial at 99.78%.

Oligo-dT probes covalently attached to Pure mRNA Beads capture mRNA in the presence of Buffer mRBB. Two wash steps improve purity, and mRNA is eluted in Buffer OEB. The procedure completes in under 45 minutes with only one round of purification, requiring starting material of 5 μg down to 100 ng of total RNA.

The protocol can be automated on the QIAcube Connect, minimizing hands-on time. The kit includes spin columns and all necessary reagents and buffers for isolating pure poly A+ mRNA, delivering material ready for downstream NGS use without further purification.
