Foam Inserts QPAC, RRC

QIAGEN foam inserts are precision-cut protective components that fit the QPAC reagent cartridges used with the RRC (Reagent Reservoir Cartridge) automation platform. Each insert cradles primary reagent vials during shipping, instrument loading, and on-deck storage, dampening vibration and preventing tip-cap disengagement or bottle shift that would otherwise cause aspiration errors during automated nucleic acid purification runs.

Manufactured from closed-cell polyethylene foam, the inserts are chemically inert, resistant to commonly used buffer chemistries, and pre-scored to accept standard 30 mL and 60 mL reagent bottles. Lots are produced in a cleanroom environment and shipped in sealed packs of 4 to prevent particulate contamination.

Use only with QPAC reagent cartridges on validated RRC instruments. Replace inserts whenever a cartridge is reloaded with fresh reagents or after any drop event. Storage at room temperature in the original sealed pack.
