FastLane Cell Multiplex Kit (200)

A QIAGEN solution for multiplex, real-time, one-step RT-PCR performed directly from cultured cell lysates, eliminating the need for RNA purification. The kit is suited to rapid, high-throughput gene expression analysis, including validation of siRNA-mediated gene knockdown.

An optimized master mix containing a novel RT-PCR buffer and a hot-start DNA polymerase enables successful multiplex analysis at the first attempt, without optimization of reaction conditions. A unique gDNA Wipeout Buffer eliminates genomic DNA so that only RNA is detected, removing the need to design RNA-specific primers or probes. The FastLane lysate can be prepared in 12 minutes.

The kit supports multiplex analysis in 96- and 384-well formats, with up to 5 targets analyzed per well. Target and control genes are amplified in the same reaction with similar, high PCR efficiencies, enabling relative quantification by the ΔΔCT method. This format is intended for cyclers that require ROX dye for fluorescence normalization.
