EZ2 RNA FFPE Kit (48)

This QIAGEN kit enables automated purification of RNA from formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue samples using the EZ2 Connect instrument. The workflow removes paraffin without multiple wash steps, reducing the risk of losing sample material, and fully automates all procedures after the deparaffinization step. Users add Paraffin Removal Solution to the sample sections, vortex for 10 seconds, centrifuge briefly, and incubate for 3 minutes before transferring the tubes into the EZ2 Connect for the remainder of the run.

The kit processes tissue sections of 5–10 µm thickness, totaling up to 4 mm3 of tissue, with 1–24 samples per run. Eluted RNA is provided in 50 or 100 µl volumes and is suitable for downstream real-time RT-PCR, dPCR, or NGS applications. Purification is based on magnetic particle technology, and QIAsphere connectivity can deliver a run-completion notification to a desktop or mobile device.

The kit is shipped at room temperature (15–25°C). The DNase I component should be stored at 2–8°C, with all other kit components kept dry at room temperature.
