EZ1 Advanced DSP Virus Card

This prefilled reagent card from QIAGEN is designed for automated viral nucleic acid extraction on the QIAGEN EZ1 Advanced and EZ1 Advanced XL platforms. It uses optimized DSP chemistry to deliver consistent recovery from viral specimens for sensitive downstream detection, with closed, preloaded reagents supporting a streamlined, low-contamination workflow. Magnetic-particle purification is tuned for virus-containing samples, and the card is suited to diagnostic and research laboratories that need repeatable, PCR-ready extracts.

The card is used with human plasma, serum, or CSF samples. Combined with the EZ1 Advanced instrument, it supports runs of up to 6 samples, while the EZ1 Advanced XL enables up to 14 samples per run, each completed in less than 20 minutes. The DSP card and accompanying DSP kits are intended for in vitro diagnostic use in Europe.
