EZ1 Advanced DSP DNA Blood Card

QIAGEN's prefilled reagent card is designed for automated purification of genomic DNA from whole blood and blood-derived samples on the EZ1 Advanced and EZ1 Advanced XL instruments. The closed cartridge comes preloaded with reagents, which remain foil-sealed until the instrument door is closed and the protocol run is started, supporting contamination-minimized processing. Magnetic-particle–based extraction is optimized for blood matrices, helping to reduce manual preparation and standardize sample-to-sample performance.

Used in combination with the EZ1 DSP DNA Blood Kit, the card delivers reproducible, PCR-ready DNA suitable for molecular diagnostics and downstream applications. The card specifies preprogrammed purification protocols without any manual data entry, and as a user's range of applications expands, additional cards can be purchased to extend the range of purification protocols without retraining or instrument modification. The card is intended for in vitro diagnostic use in Europe when used with the corresponding EZ1 DSP Kit.
