EZ1 Adv. XL Test Card

Test cards from QIAGEN provide protocols for evaluating pipetting accuracy on EZ1 instruments. Compatible with the EZ1 Advanced XL, EZ1 Advanced, or BioRobot EZ1, the cards guide users through transferring either 100 µl or 500 µl of water from one set of tubes to another. Defined specifications for accuracy are ±8 µl for the 100 µl volume, corresponding to pipetted volumes in the range of 92–108 µl, and ±40 µl for the 500 µl volume, corresponding to pipetted volumes in the range of 460–540 µl.

An additional protocol on the card describes how to test the tip adapters for liquid leaks.
