EZ1 Adv. XL DNA Paraffin Section Card

QIAGEN preprogrammed protocol card for automated DNA purification from paraffin-embedded tissue sections on the EZ1 Advanced XL workstation. The card is designed to be used with the EZ1 DNA Tissue Kit; it slots directly into the instrument's card slot, removing the need for manual data entry and enabling walkaway processing of up to 14 samples per run.

Combined with the corresponding EZ1 Kit, the system delivers high-quality DNA from formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) material suitable for downstream applications such as PCR-based assays. Prefilled, foil-sealed reagent cartridges help reduce contamination risk during setup, while integrated barcode reading supports full traceability of samples and reagents throughout the purification process.

On-instrument UV decontamination between runs assists in eliminating sample carryover, and an automatically generated run report (in pdf and csv format) can be transferred to a printer, computer, or LIMS within the laboratory network.
