EZ1 Adv. XL DNA Buffy Coat Card

QIAGEN's EZ1 Advanced XL DNA Buffy Coat Card is a preprogrammed protocol card for automated DNA purification from buffy coat (leukocyte-enriched) samples on the EZ1 Advanced XL workstation, used together with the EZ1 DNA Blood 350 µl Kit. The card is inserted into the instrument's card slot to load the desired protocol without manual data entry, allowing walk-away automation from sample loading through elution.

As a prefilled, foil-sealed reagent cartridge based on magnetic-particle chemistry, the card supports consistent, low-contamination processing and delivers reproducible, PCR-ready genomic DNA for downstream applications in hematology, immunogenetics, and molecular diagnostics. Within the EZ1 Advanced XL platform, which processes up to 14 samples per run, the card works alongside integrated barcode-based sample and reagent tracking for full traceability, automated pdf and csv run reporting, and a built-in UV lamp for decontamination between runs.
