EZ1 Adv. XL DNA Blood Card

Preprogrammed by QIAGEN for error-free protocol setup, this card enables automated purification of DNA from blood and blood-derived samples on the EZ1 Advanced XL workstation. It is designed for use with the EZ1 DNA Blood 200 µl Kit or the EZ1 DNA Blood 350 µl Kit and is simply inserted into the instrument's card slot to select the desired protocol.

Once prefilled, foil-sealed reagent cartridges and samples are loaded, the workstation performs all processing steps automatically, delivering purified nucleic acids in 1.5 ml microcentrifuge tubes. The EZ1 Advanced XL supports processing of 1–14 samples per run in less than 20 minutes, with on-instrument bar code reading for complete tracking of samples and reagents. Reagent identification, lot numbers, and expiration dates are logged automatically, and a run report is generated in pdf and csv format at the end of each protocol.

As application needs expand, additional protocol cards can be purchased separately to extend the range of purification protocols without requiring instrument modification or operator retraining.
