Eppendorf Research® plus Move It®, adjustable cone distance, 8-channel, 120 – 1,200 µL, dark green

This adjustable tip spacing pipette from Eppendorf accelerates and simplifies synchronous pipetting of a series of samples between different vessel formats such as tubes and plates. A unique tubeless design results in increased precision and durability as well as user and sample safety. It is an 8-channel air-cushion pipette with variable volume, offered here as the mechanical Research plus variant in dark green, covering a range of 120 – 1,200 µL.

Tip spacing is freely selectable from 4.5 to 33 mm, supporting transfers between 384-, 96-, 48-, 24- and 12-well plates, 1.5 and 2.0 mL tubes, agarose gels and more. A format limiter enables quick switches backwards and forwards between source and destination formats, while a manual adjustment knob allows smooth vibration-free format switches and liquid transfers without dripping.

The 360° rotatable pipette head provides comfortable readability of the display and fast identification of parameters. Construction is autoclavable for user and sample safety, and the pipette is optimally balanced to reduce hand fatigue during stress-free operation. Applications include ELISA, cell culture, cell-based assays, (real time) PCR, mouse genotyping, blood analysis, FACS analysis, media transfer, dilution series, and screening, with the Research plus variant also supporting forward pipetting, reverse pipetting, removal of supernatants, sample mixing, phase extraction, and filling of plates, gels, and reaction vessels.
