Eppendorf Research® plus single-channel, variable 0.5 - 5 mL, purple, incl. epT.I.P.S.® sample bag

From Eppendorf, the Research plus is a single-channel mechanical air-cushion pipette with a variable volume range of 0.5–5 mL, identified by its purple operating button. Designed according to the Eppendorf PhysioCare Concept® principles, it is engineered to be ultra-light in both weight and pipetting forces, helping users avoid hand and arm strain during extended pipetting sessions.

Key features include a spring-loaded tip cone (available for all pipettes up to 1 mL) that minimises tip attachment forces without sacrificing tip tightness, as well as one of the lowest operating and tip ejection forces on the pipette market. Users can temporarily adjust the pipette in seconds for better accuracy when pipetting challenging liquids such as ethanol, or when pipetting at high altitudes, and return to factory adjustment without recalibration. The entire pipette, or only its lower part, can be autoclaved to support decontamination, and the premium construction provides high UV and chemical resistance. The pipette is supplied with an epT.I.P.S.® sample bag.

Listed applications include forward pipetting, reverse pipetting, removal of supernatants, sample mixing, phase extraction, and filling of plates, gels, and reaction vessels. The product is non-sterile and is supplied without a certificate of conformity.
