Description
The single-channel fixed-volume pipette from Eppendorf offers ergonomic, accurate pipetting of aqueous solutions as a mechanical air-cushion instrument. Its yellow control button corresponds to a 10 µL fixed volume. Designed according to the Eppendorf PhysioCare Concept® principles, the pipette is ultra-light, with low operating and tip ejection forces to help avoid hand and arm strain. A spring-loaded tip cone reduces tip attachment stress without sacrificing tip tightness.
The lower part, or the entire unit, can be autoclaved for decontamination, and premium materials provide high UV and chemical resistance. Users can temporarily adjust the pipette in seconds for better accuracy when pipetting challenging liquids like ethanol, or when working at high altitudes, then return to factory adjustment.
Made in Germany, the unit supports forward pipetting, reverse pipetting, removal of supernatants, sample mixing, phase extraction, and the filling of plates, gels, and reaction vessels.
