Eppendorf Research® plus Move It®, adjustable cone distance, 12-channel, 1 – 20 µL, light pink

A 12-channel air-cushion pipette from Eppendorf, the Research plus Move It offers adjustable tip spacing between 4.5 and 33 mm and a volume range of 1 – 20 µL. The mechanical pipette is colour-coded light pink and features a spring-loaded tip cone with a volume increment of 0.02 µL. It is autoclavable and ships with an epT.I.P.S.® Box 2.0, operating manual, certificate, and adjustment tool.

The pipette enables simultaneous transfer of multiple samples between different vessel formats, such as tubes, plates, and agarose gels. Users can manually set spacing using pre-defined positions for 384-, 96-, 48-, 24-, and 12-well plates. The tubeless design means the pipette head rotates a full 360°, and because no motor is used, format changes occur without vibration, reducing the risk of dripping. The piston cylinder system connects directly to the nose cone.

Random measurement error is stated as ± 8% (± 0.08 µL) at 1 µL, ± 5% (± 0.1 µL) at 2 µL, ± 2% (± 0.2 µL) at 10 µL, and ± 1% (± 0.2 µL) at 20 µL. Systematic measurement error is ± 15% (± 0.15 µL) at 1 µL, ± 10% (± 0.2 µL) at 2 µL, ± 4% (± 0.4 µL) at 10 µL, and ± 2% (± 0.4 µL) at 20 µL.
