Eppendorf Research® plus 8-channel, variable, 10 - 100 µL, yellow

A mechanical, air-cushion multichannel pipette from Eppendorf with eight channels and variable volume setting, designed for accurate and ergonomic pipetting of aqueous solutions. The yellow operating button corresponds to a 10–100 µL volume range, and the pipette is intended for use with 200 µL pipette tips.

Built according to the Eppendorf PhysioCare Concept® principles, the ultra-light pipette is engineered to reduce hand and arm strain during use. A spring-loaded tip cone minimises tip attachment and ejection forces while maintaining a secure, reproducible tip fit, increasing user-to-user reproducibility. The instrument can be autoclaved either in its entirety or with the lower part removed to support decontamination, and the materials used offer high UV and chemical resistance. A secondary adjustment option allows the pipette to be temporarily calibrated for challenging liquids such as ethanol or for work at high altitudes, and the factory adjustment can be restored without recalibration.

Typical applications include forward pipetting, reverse pipetting, removal of supernatants, sample mixing, phase extraction, and filling of plates, gels, and reaction vessels. The pipette is supplied with an Eppendorf epT.I.P.S. box or sample bag and is made in Germany. Stated performance figures for the 10–100 µL range (systematic error / random error): at 10 µL, ±3,0% / ±0,3 µL and ±2,0% / ±0,2 µL; at 50 µL, ±1,0% / ±0,5 µL and ±0,8% / ±0,4 µL; at 100 µL, ±0,8% / ±0,8 µL and ±0,3% / ±0,3 µL.
