Eppendorf Research® plus 16-channel, variable, 5 – 100 µL, light yellow, incl. epT.I.P.S.® Box

Built around ergonomic and safety principles, this mechanical air-cushion pipette from Eppendorf is a 16-channel, variable volume model covering 5 – 100 µL, finished in light yellow and supplied with an epT.I.P.S. Box. It is designed for accurate, easy, and ergonomic pipetting of aqueous solutions, including manual pipetting in 384-well plates.

The ultra-light construction follows the Eppendorf PhysioCare Concept, helping to reduce hand and arm strain. A spring-loaded tip cone minimises tip attachment forces while maintaining tip tightness, and the pipette offers one of the lowest operating and tip ejection forces on the market. Users can temporarily adjust the pipette in seconds for better accuracy when pipetting challenging liquids such as ethanol or when working at high altitudes, then return it to the factory adjustment without calibration. For decontamination, the lower part or the entire pipette can be autoclaved, and premium materials deliver high UV and chemical resistance.

The 16-channel format is part of a broader Research plus range that also includes single-channel fixed and variable volume models as well as 8-, 12-, and 24-channel pipettes. Typical applications include forward pipetting, reverse pipetting, removal of supernatants, sample mixing, phase extraction, and filling of plates, gels, and reaction vessels.
