Eppendorf Research® plus 120-1200µL/12-ch, dark green

This 12-channel variable-volume mechanical air-cushion pipette from Eppendorf covers a volume range of 120 – 1200 µL and is finished in dark green. Built around the Eppendorf PhysioCare Concept®, the Research plus is described as one of the safest and most ergonomic mechanical pipettes available, combining very low weight with minimal operating and tip ejection forces to help reduce hand and arm strain during extended use.

A spring-loaded tip cone, available on pipettes up to 1 mL, lowers tip attachment force without sacrificing tip tightness. The pipette can be temporarily adjusted for better accuracy when pipetting challenging liquids such as ethanol or when working at high altitudes, then returned to factory settings without recalibration. Either the lower part or the entire pipette can be autoclaved to support decontamination, and premium materials provide high UV and chemical resistance. The unit is supplied non-sterile.

Typical applications include forward pipetting, reverse pipetting, removal of supernatants, sample mixing, phase extraction, and filling of plates, gels, and reaction vessels.
