Description

Designed for precise and accurate liquid handling in laboratory applications, the Eppendorf Reference® 2 is a single-channel mechanical pipette with an adjustable volume range of 30 - 300 µL. It features an orange operating button and is intended for use with 300 µL tips. The instrument is ergonomically designed so that fluid samples can be transported with a simple push of a button, and it is supplied with an epT.I.P.S.® box.

Operating on an air-cushion principle with one-button control for volume selection, pipetting, and tip ejection, the pipette has a 4-digit display behind a magnifying window for volume setting and locking. A spring-loaded tip cone reduces tip attachment force and improves user reproducibility. The pipette is fully autoclavable with a smooth surface for efficient decontamination, and adjustment seals allow both temporary and factory recalibration. Clear haptic feedback helps prevent accidental tip ejection, supporting reliable sterile workflows.
