This mechanical air-cushion pipette from Eppendorf is a single-channel, variable-volume instrument designed for precise liquid handling in laboratory settings. It covers a volume range of 2 to 20 µL and is intended for use with 20 µL tips.

The pipette features ergonomic single-button operation that allows fast handling with reduced operating effort. Clear haptic feedback helps to avoid accidental tip ejection, while a 4-digit display with a magnifying window enables quick and secure volume setting that is clearly visible from every angle, including a volume lock. A spring-loaded tip cone lowers tip attachment force to improve user-to-user reproducibility and ergonomics, and the design supports active aerosol reduction during operation.

A smooth surface and full autoclavability allow efficient decontamination, making the instrument suitable for work under sterile conditions. It is supplied with an epT.I.P.S. box and is manufactured in Germany.
