The Eppendorf Reference® 2 is a single-channel, mechanical air-cushion pipette designed for precise liquid handling in scientific research. This model covers a variable volume range of 0.5 mL to 5 mL and is intended for use with 5 mL tips.

Operation is handled through a single-button ergonomic design aimed at reducing user fatigue and supporting efficient pipetting. The instrument features a smooth surface and is fully autoclavable, supporting cleaning and decontamination for sterile work. The ejector button is finished in a violet/purple tone for fast visual identification of the volume class.

Built around a robust stainless-steel handle, the pipette provides impact resistance and is engineered to remain within calibration after accidental drops. A spring-loaded tip cone supports reproducible tip attachment with reduced force, while a clear 4-digit volume display with a magnifying window allows quick volume setting and reading, secured by a volume-lock feature. The package includes an epT.I.P.S.® sample bag.
