Eppendorf Reference® 2 single- channel, variable 0.5 - 10 µL, medium gray, incl. epT.I.P.S.® box

A single-channel variable-volume mechanical pipette from Eppendorf, covering a range of 0.5 - 10 µL with a medium grey operating button and supplied with an epT.I.P.S. box. It is designed for use with 20 µL tips and supports precise liquid handling in laboratory work.

The instrument is operated via a single button that handles dispensing, blow-out and tip ejection, supported by clear haptic feedback to help avoid accidental tip ejection and active aerosol reduction. A 4-digit volume display sits behind a magnifying window for secure volume setting and identification, and the volume can be locked. A spring-loaded tip cone lowers tip attachment force to improve user-to-user reproducibility and ergonomics, while the smooth surface and full autoclavability allow efficient decontamination for work under sterile conditions. A temporary adjustment option permits easy compensation for different liquids or external conditions without a full calibration.

Stated applications include forward pipetting, reverse pipetting, removal of supernatants, sample mixing, phase extraction, and filling of plates, gels, and reaction vessels. The Reference 2 range is also offered in fixed-volume single-channel versions and in 8- and 12-channel multi-channel variants.
