Eppendorf Reference® 2 single- channel, fixed, 2 mL, red

A single-channel, fixed-volume laboratory pipette from Eppendorf, part of the Reference 2 series, set to dispense 2 mL (2000 µL). The unit features a red operating button and is intended for accurate liquid transfer in scientific research and laboratory applications.

The instrument uses a unique one-button operation for both pipetting and tip ejection, eliminating lateral thumb movement and reducing muscle strain. A spring-loaded tip cone lowers tip attachment and ejection forces, with a lockable system supporting reproducible operation. Aerosol contamination is actively decreased with half the number of air cushion movements compared with conventional designs. The light-weight, supple piston helps prevent fatigue during prolonged pipetting.

A secondary adjustment system allows reversible, separate calibration from the metrological adjustment to suit specific operating conditions such as liquid type, temperature, and pressure. Each pipette carries an embedded RFID chip that works with Eppendorf TrackIT software for traceability. The pipette is supplied with a certificate of conformity to EN ISO 8655 and is backed by a 3-year warranty. A sturdy stainless-steel handle combined with spring-loaded bumpers helps the unit stay within calibration even after a fall.
