Eppendorf Reference® 2 single- channel, fixed, 1 µL, dark gray

From Eppendorf, this single-channel, fixed volume Reference 2 mechanical pipette is set to 1 µL with a dark gray operating button and is intended for use with 10 µL tips. As a mechanical air-cushion pipette, it uses an innovative one-button operation that supports fast, ergonomic handling with reduced operating effort and active aerosol reduction, while clear haptic feedback helps prevent accidental tip ejection.

A 4-digit display with a magnifying window allows quick volume identification from every angle and includes a volume lock. The spring-loaded tip cone improves reproducibility between users and lowers tip attachment force. The pipette has a smooth surface and is fully autoclavable for decontamination under sterile conditions, and a temporary adjustment option enables accurate pipetting of different liquids or in changing external conditions without full calibration.

The same design is offered as single-channel pipettes in fixed or variable volumes as well as 8- and 12-channel variants. Documented applications include forward pipetting, reverse pipetting, removal of supernatants, sample mixing, phase extraction, and filling of plates, gels, and reaction vessels.
