The workflow integrates cell lysis and bisulfite conversion, enabling higher-throughput processing of cells and tissue lysates.

The kit combines an innovative lysis buffer with the EpiTect Fast DNA Bisulfite Kit for bisulfite conversion. An optimized binding step and uniquely formulated lysis buffers streamline the release of DNA from crude samples. Converted DNA is highly suited to downstream analysis of DNA methylation by end-point, real-time, and methylation-specific PCR, bisulfite sequencing (direct and cloning), COBRA (Combined Bisulfite Restriction Analysis), and pyrosequencing.
