A research-use add-on for the AdnaTest BreastCancerDetect kit, this QIAGEN reagent set screens immunomagnetically enriched circulating tumor cells for epithelial-mesenchymal transition transcripts tied to stem-like, treatment-resistant phenotypes. The product supplies gene-specific primer mixes and PCR reagents that drive multiplex reverse transcription PCR amplification of EMT markers from whole-blood samples processed through the AdnaTest enrichment chemistry. A 5 mL whole-blood draw collected into AdnaCollect tubes is the standard input volume, yielding CD45-depleted cells that are lysed on-column and captured onto mRNA beads.
