DyeEx 2.0 Spin Kit (250)

This spin-column kit from QIAGEN uses gel-filtration technology to remove unincorporated dye terminators from sequencing reactions, including those generated for Sanger sequencing. Designed for high-capacity cleanup ahead of loading onto a capillary sequencer, the DyeEx 2.0 Spin Kit processes reactions by loading them onto pre-hydrated gel-filtration material; after a short centrifugation step the cleaned-up reactions are ready for the sequencer, with unincorporated dye terminators retained in the gel matrix.

The centrifuge-based protocol is suited to laboratories handling larger numbers of samples and delivers robust, reproducible cleanup for capillary sequencing. The kit is intended for removal of unincorporated dye terminators from 1–24 sequencing reactions per cleanup.
