dPCR CGT Assay SV40 promoter (HEX)

For digital PCR applications requiring precise absolute quantification of promoter sequences in vector and transgene studies, this QIAGEN assay provides a prevalidated hydrolysis-probe solution targeting the simian virus 40 (SV40) promoter. The wet-lab validated 20x assay is labeled with the HEX fluorophore to facilitate multiplexing.

With an amplicon length of 77 bp, the assay is compatible with the restriction enzymes MspI, HpaII, SmaI, and HaeIII. The HEX label is paired with a ZEN/Iowa Black quencher. The assay is intended for use on the QIAcuity digital PCR instrument with the QIAcuity Probe PCR Kit, and is also compatible with dPCR instruments from other suppliers. CGT dPCR assays are validated for singleplex and multiplex reactions and can be combined with gene-of-interest assays.

Performance data show accurate quantification down to 0.3 copies/µl and high linearity from 2.5 copies/µl to 15,000 copies/µl with less than 10% deviation from the mean.
