dPCR CGT Assay SV40 promoter (Cy5)

This wet-lab validated, 20x hydrolysis-probe assay from QIAGEN targets the simian virus 40 (SV40) promoter sequence and is labeled with Cy5 for far-red detection, paired with a TAO/Iowa Black quencher. It is a prevalidated assay intended for digital PCR quantification, and is particularly useful in multiplex assays for vector characterization, having been validated for both singleplex and multiplex reactions. The assay produces an amplicon of 77 bp and is compatible with the restriction enzymes MspI, HpaII, SmaI, and HaeIII. A synthetic DNA sequence is provided for positive controls, and the product is intended for research use.

The assay is optimized for use on the QIAcuity digital PCR instrument with the QIAcuity Probe PCR Kit, and CGT dPCR assays of this family are also compatible with digital PCR instruments from other suppliers. Demonstrated performance includes accurate quantification down to 0.3 copies/µl, as well as high linearity from 2.5 copies/µl to 15,000 copies/µl with superior precision (<10% deviation from mean) on 8.5k Nanoplates.
