dPCR CGT Assay ITR2/5 (HEX)

A wet-lab validated assay from QIAGEN, designed to target the ITR sequences of adeno-associated virus (AAV) particles for digital PCR applications. The HEX probe fluorophore is paired with a ZEN/Iowa Black quencher, and the assay produces an amplicon of 62 bp. It is compatible with the restriction enzymes Msp I, Hpa II, and Sma I.

Intended for use with the QIAcuity digital PCR instrument and QIAcuity Probe PCR Kit, this assay supports applications including viral vector titer measurement, vector genome integrity measurement, and detection of potential plasmid contamination when Amp plasmids are used in AAV production. It is validated for both singleplex and multiplex reactions, can be combined with gene-of-interest assays, and is compatible with both dPCR and qPCR platforms.

Performance characteristics reported for the CGT dPCR assays include accurate quantification down to 0.3 copies/µl and high linearity from 2.5 copies/µl to 15,000 copies/µl with superior precision (<10% deviation from mean) on 8.5k Nanoplates.
